Pat's Class
Run by our Founding Director Patrick Burroughs, Pat's Class is the third and most advanced Violin ensemble in our FCTE program. Students are normally in senior high school or a post-secondary college or university, have studied their instrument for a number of years and value a varied approach to technique, ear training reading, unison and multi-part playing, and who enjoy music making with senior players.
Our large folder of music includes over 90 compositions from an interesting array of composers, many of which have been arranged by Norman Abbott, Tom Wermuth, Michael McLean, or others, and which represent music from various periods and styles in music history.
